Been out a couple of times. Pulled out some pretty nice bottles, and a buffalo nickel. Right now I'm sitting at home trying to doctor a sore on my leg. Don't even know how I hurt it. Doctor put me on antibiotics, and stuff. Hope it gets better soon. No snow here. Just cold, and rain...

Hello Old River, Great job finding the Texas Navy button.
I'm from Baytown myself. Haven't got much chance to swing a detector this year though. I'm sorry to hear you took that bad fall. Hope you are back to 100% and if not then, get there soon. I'm not asking for your spot that you found the ring, I'd just like to know if it was near Baytown or closer to Galveston. Good luck on future hunts, Mongoose.

Sorry I didn't get back to you. I've been down since the 1st of Feb. Took a pretty bad fall, and got myself slowed down for a while Broke my shoulder, and knocked it out of socket. Got my leg hurt pretty bad also. Doing a lot better now, but still got to take it easy for a while. Shoulder is still giving me problems. Hope to be back digging before to long.

just checking in. Have you been md lately? We have snow on the ground here. figures as soon as i am free it snows and now i am stuck.. happy holidays.
