Hammered Hunting & Copse Field...

I got up early & spent 4.5 hours on my own carrying on from where Shaun7, Dad & I finished yesterday. I only managed a hammered cut halfpenny of Henry III just before the heavy rain. Dad arrived & took me home wet until the rain stopped.

1 Lead Token
1 Rose Farthing
William III Farthing
1914 Sixpence
4 Scrappies
Fragment of a Medieval Ring Brooch
Post Medieval Sword Belt Fitment
Nice 17th C Button
and the usual bits...

He still had not done any more of the No.1 Field, he just ran a fork like piece behind the tractor to break up the soil a little in readiness.

The livery button is one of my favorites. And the roman beauty of course! :o

I think it was but the funny thing is, that it started pouring with rain as he was about to finish :tongue3:

Re: Hammered Hunting & Copse Field...

Hey CRU ! , do not advise you to go hunting in the rain and only .... take care, we need you alive. ;D
But despite all risk had good results, as always.
