The weather broke for a few days in February and I was able to find a new spot with thawed ground to dig. I visited this spot a day prior and found a Wheatie. Looking forward to getting back for rings and silvers! GLHH! Metal Detecting For Coins!

My sister and I went detecting at the local soccer fields which connect to the park. We searched along the edge of the fields close to the property fence and we both had bucket lister finds scores! 1848 Braided Hair Copper Large Cent Found At The Soccer Field! Sarah Finds A Horseshoe!

Found this Gold Digger at Salvation Army for $10 and had to try it out in the field. I went to the high school and found so many shallow targets. With just a little discrimination, this detector can find some coins!

Had a chance to go the the Kalamazoo River and do some detecting!

My friend Joe owns Twin Pines Campground and Livery, and invited me out to detect in the river where everyone unloads their canoes and kayaks. I had a lot of coins and there are tons of targets teaming but after about four hours I had to call it a day. I had a blast!

Went metal detecting on a chilly 65 degree day. Had the place to myself. I didn’t stay long because I got cold but managed to find a men’s gold ring! 14k

Legend has it, Detroit’s Purple Gang, used to be in the area and possibly hid some goods where we went Metal detecting. My friend Eric invited me out to his In-Laws to search for some relics and hopefully unearth some Purple Gang treasure! Owen went to hunt too!
