mill

These are some of the finds after several hunts over 3 months at a pond created at a dam near a former mill in RI. The pond has been partially drained and the water level has been going up and down. The goal was to clean out the trash...but it also yielded treasures...No old coins though..at...

I found this in a creek by the ruins of an early 19th century grist mill. I figure it might be a part from the mill. It's about the size of a brick and it's made from solid iron.

Hey guys! Can you help determine the age of this artifact? The material is iron. This was discovered near an old mill/horse-stable. Unfortunately I cannot determine the age of the location, even the land owners don't know. Thanks guys!
