rookie detecting

Got a Equinox 800 coming Saturday and would like to go to Mecca area to try it out. Complete novice. Any suggestions as to legal metal detecting areas around Mecca? 8-)

Ok so it's been a month or so since I started detecting, and I'll have to admit I'm officially an addict:blackbeard: Here are some of my first months finds, minus a bunch of junk and bigger items. Can't wait to upgrade my bh1100 and see if a nicer detector will make a huge difference or not...
