state fair of texas

Hunted an old cleared lot in Dallas and came across this cool piece. Brass I believe. It says ,"the State Fair of Texas" and Oct 12-27 1929. It's about two inches across. I do know that was the first year that the UT/OU game was played in Dallas. But I can't find anything else on this piece...
