06/30/06 Finds

I didn't get anything today in my $500 box of halves... oh well, but I did get the following bills from the bank that I cash everything in at to bring to the other bank to cash in for the halves.

My finds:

1977A $1 Bill (I've started saving everything pre-1990 as far as $1 bills go because I find so few of them, and their average life span is 18 months before they get destroyed)

1999 $1 Star Note

1996 $20 Star Note - My first $20 star note to date, so I'm happy to finally find one!

From what I've heard is when a bill is destroyed they replace it with a bill that has a star on it near the serial number. I've never come across one,but someone showed a photo of one here a while back.
