Up at the crack of dawn ... Solo hunting at the beach ... Til about 7am when every other mofo and their brother showed up ... About 9 of us hunting the water ... Another 6 or 7 on the sand ... LOL ... Like a detector convention out there ...

Today was the day of the earring ... Got 2 of them which are silver ... Others and the toe ring just costume jewelry ... Fun times had.

I'd say you did very well given the competition you described. What is the feeling like of being surrounded by so many other detectorists? Do you find you, and everyone else are getting distracted by checking out what everyone is up to? That would drive me nuts, hah.

The more the merrier, right? LOL.

You just have to put your coil over it.

It's even more rewarding when you scoop the goodies despite that much competition.

My second class ring was dug in knee deep water about 10 yards from another hunter. There were 3 others hunters not far from that hunter. If I remember correctly, I counted 7 hunters that day in the water.
