09/09 Beach Gold - The 3 P's

The 3 P's to detecting: Patience, Persistence, Positivity.

Went out today and hit a couple of different beaches. Finally happened upon one that the sea gods thought fit to reward me at. Once again a high earring count (10) several of them silver, 1 with multiple diamonds... The real treat of the day are the (2) gold rings, 1 cocktail ring is 14k 4.5g -- the other is 22k 6.6 g -- first 22k i've ever found so feelin pretty sporty. Good enough for rings #160 & #161 on the year.

Have you ever broken that down into hunting hours per gold ring? I'm in my longest slump ever, "ZERO" yellow rings in about the last 24 hours of actual hunting. I'm bummed.

Jeepers, are those stones real? If so, you sure made up for your 'slump' I can't even imagine digging up a 22k ring Think I saw you out there today. You were the one doing cartwheels up and down the beach with some shiny thing in your hand

I definitely have you beat...I have gone 120-150 hours before getting gold, one guy said he had gone four years, to me 24 hours is not a slump at all....

I've never seen a 22K ring before. Nice score! Both rings are beautiful. Hope to see one in my basket in the near future. Quite a ring count you got there. Congrats on all the good luck and hard work!
