After about 1 year of searching I have found my 1,000th coin. Its a 1995d penny I found in a parking lot. I think I pull put this one in the collection. Here is a list of things Ive found since then:

-Gold plated angel pin
-5 keys (2 from the 50's)
-Copper and mother of pearl bracelet
-5 wheaties
-Silver rosary ring
-skirt weight
-belt buckle
-3 cap gun parts
-6 dog tags
-silver earring with a faux garnet stone
