Went back to SOSO to try again today.
Got a 1944 Mercury dime, and a 1951D wheat penny.
The rest was clad:
24 quarters (ties my record).
26 dimes
6 nickels
18 pennies

Congrats! I'm waiting for the weather to straighten-up so I can give it a go again.
 

Congratz on the silver! That is a lot of quarters for so few pennies! I hope you're digging those penny signals, because good stuff be disguising itself as pennies!
 

I was not discriminating pennies out, but I wanted to make sure I got through my initial survey of the area.
I am definitely going back at some point, and swinging in the other direction this time.
I would love to pick up some more silver.
My goal this year was to get at least one silver quarter (done), and a class ring (still looking).
In April I will have been detecting for 2 years, so I am still new to this hobby.
 

Congrats on the Merc Nick. Youre kickin my butt this year. I haven't dug a silver coin yet.
Our 2 newest permissions were chock full of fill dirt, and the old sites weve been pounding are not giving up anything.
