Two days ago I found a nice German coin, a 1912 D silver 1/2 Mark. It was quite exciting to find. it's a nice looking coin. This coin was 3" down at an old homestead from 1790's. It's only the second piece of silver from the site, but certainly not what I expected to unearth.
