Got to go out again last night before Church and the snow. I need to get a digital camera! Hunted for about 3 hours total and found $1.47 and a ton of trash. More large metal pieces that are not identifiable, a matchbox car,several old bic lighters and pulltabs. My finds include 1 quarter, 8 dimes, and 42 pennies. 2 of the pennies are wheaties and 2 of the dimes are silver. I got my detector for Christmas and have found a total of 93 coins in 3 days. The snow came last night so not sure I can get out today. Had planned on spending most of the day hunting! I tried Boobydoo's thing about chips at the playground but it is so wet here that the first hole I dug filled with water as fast as I could dig the chips. I cannot wait till spring!

I want to say thanks to all you MDers that write back. It is nice to get all the feedback. You guys are great!

I, too, am truly looking forward to spring!
Like yourself, I am trying to get out every chance I can, and
some of the favorite sites are becoming inaccessible.
Two silvers and some wheats is still a good hunt. WTG!

Thanks Ty, I am still learning my detector. I think I am probally missing stuff but am digging everything. It's just so muddy here right now.
