Hello neighbour,

that's a very nice picture of a beautiful coin. Congratulations! I found a 1 Skilling Danska 1771 in a deep cut on the beach here last march. It's copper and I couldn't take picture as good as yours.

Nice Skilling 1771, wrecker !! :icon_thumright:
That coin is the most common old coin of Denmark.
It was used in at period of many years in the late 18th cent. and the beginning of the 19th., all coins minted with the year 1771.
It was minted in about 50.000.000 pieces.

Nice cartoon and text, richm !! :icon_thumleft:

I´ve thought about bringing it to McDonald´s to see if they will give me a HAMBURGER for it !! :wav:

(but then again, it is surely worth more than a hamburger !!!)

Thanks for the info TheDane!
