Second trip to the new ball field site and I pulled out 9 silver dimes, one of my best days ever. 1892 and 1916 Barbers, 1917-S (damaged), 1919, 1920, 1926, 1941 and 1941-S Mercs and a 1947 Rosie. Feeling very good about this site as I have only scratched the surface. No silver quarters but plenty of clad ones. 144 silver coins for the year.

Nice day of silver!!

man what great haul :headbang:

Nice silver mining! I was on a house site last week and found 8 silver dime and 10 wheats. I wonder what the minted ratio is on dimes vs other silver coins. I seem to find about 8 dimes to one quarter. And about 60 dimes to each half. I don't mind finding the dimes, it means I'm one more dime closer to a big silver. Get back to that park soon! Good luck.

wow nice finds. keep us posted on the other nice silver that comes outta that honey hole

Find any wheats or Indians?

great run of silver and nice variety.....wtg

Yeah, we'd like to see the copper, jewelry, and crap too!

About 15 wheaties but they are toast I think from fertilizer or something. Letting the soak for a while to try and get some dates. No indian heads or good jewelry. Going back out tomorrow AM.

Quite the spot!! Looks pretty virgin to me! God Bless Chris

Well, you figure that since half dimes and silver trimes ceased circulation, dimes became the smallest circulating coin and thus the easiest one to lose. Much easier to lose a dime than a penny, nickel, or quarter.

5 More Today

5 more dimes today, 1 Barber and 4 Mercs. Going to try somewhere new next week.

Wow. Really ripping it up on the silver! I picked up a few silvers yesterday and no quarters either. They must be hiding somewhere.

One nice silver is a good day for me. You must be living right to come across a find like yours. May you have many awsome days ahead.

That's a great day and a great spot! I hope you have many more days like this one! Can't wait to see what else you find! Great Job! :icon_thumleft:
