10 hours of thawed ground, enough time to pop my new At Pro's cherry!!

Gotta love New England 60 degree day with rain the night before equalled soft but stiff ground for a nice winter hunt with my brand new toy, the Garrett AT Pro. Had a decent 2 hour hunt with a few cool finds and a massive headache from the crazy amount of noise due to an amateur mistake of not seating the coil cord into the head unit properly:BangHead:. Still managed to pick out a few great signals I had to dig and ended up finding a beautiful antique Padlock about 6 inches deep,(ironically I went to a yard sale earlier in the day and found this cool key ring of old keys and one fit the lock, talk about crazy awesome!), and a sweet 1893 IH Penny in great condition can even read the "liberty" in the headband! Can't wait to learn this machine better and really smash on properties I know still hold goods my Ace 350 just couldn't get due to masking or just hitting deep enough. Until next time pals. :headbang:

Very nice finds. I just love those IHCs.

Congrats on the new ATP. A little practice time, and I am sure that you will be pulling all sorts of treasure out of the ground! GL&HH.

GZ! nice finds!

congrats on both the finds and the new AT, you will love it

Congrats on the goods!, I too upgraded from an ace350 to the atpro and love it! It's not tricky at all to learn the settings, good luck with it!

nice finds, found the same lock about 5 years ago...

That is a great old lock. I wonder what would happen if you soaked it in some WD-40 for a month?
