But only just.
We started on an area that I found 1 scrappy on Saturday but after 2 hours with just 1 Fibula & a broken Tudor Book Clasp it was time to move. We tried some parkland for 15 mins & then tried gridding the opposite end of a field that we had done last year & had a few hammered off. It wasn't until the last 30 mins that Cru'dad got the hammered & his first recordable of the day. Saving our mega run of hammered streak.
4.5hrs total;

1st C AD Roman Fibula (Brooch)
Tudor Book Clasp
x2 17th C Leather Mounts
Hammered Cut Half of Henry III (WILLEM of Canterbury)

Those little hammered silver coins are the English equivalent of a dirty wheaty penny it seems. Does Whitman make folders for those?

This sounds like an underserved business niche to me. Should we start a company and manufacture/sell said dirty hammered penny folders? We could probably secure investment money here on Today's Finds!
a little niche

Good to keep the silver streak going. well done.
How many fields are in the 1000 acre permission?

Congratulations to you, it keeps adding up! I know its a lot of work but you are enjoying it. Best of luck to you!

I'm glad you two have kept your streak going! I LOVE the pocket knife!
