Hey Gang, its only me again.

Today started out as a bummer, the town I had mapped out turned out to suck for metal detecting. All the tot lots were really old wood chips or stones. For 7 playgrounds the yield was only 3 quarters, 14 dimes, 5 nickels, and 37 pennies. Went to another town on the way home...much better 9 quarters, 7 dimes, 8 nickels 26 pennies, 1 20 Euro coin, silver colored kids ring, various trinkets out of 3 lots. The second one I had 6 or 7 brats trying to beat me to my finds; I should never have given the first kid that tagged along 4 or 5 pennies! LOL The word must have spread. His pennies are not included in the 63 pennies found today. Sure finding a lot of Euro coins. This one is 6 or 7 of them for me. Up to 20 rings now, too bad most of them are junk! :-[

Hey Me! ;D That's a bunch a diggin you did! :o

Great finds! Congrats! Nana :)

I'm new here (1st post) but just wanted to say congrats. That 20 euro alone probalbly paid for your gas and then some, it's worth almost $27 US. :)

Wow, nice collection of jewelry there Bob. I really like the little viking head especially. Congrats on all the goodies and clad!

Yes, the old woodchips do not produce normally for me either. I think when someone drops something, it is easily found right away, whereas in new chips, a dropped item disappears instantly and they don't even know they dropped it.

Smiles!
