Got $50 in halves, $25 in pennies, and $250 in dimes.

Found one 1967 40% silver half
Found one 1964-D silver dime
Found one 1961 un centismo from panama (penny-like)
Found two canadian pennies (one a 1959)
Found 18 wheats - 1919-D, 7 from the 30s. Rest 40s-50s

Was fun! But i got alot of rolling to do!

Nice job on the silver and the wheaties! You had better luck than I did today

$250 in halves and $250 in dimes yielded a 1980 canadian dime... grrr.. oh well

Congrats on your finds!

If I calculated right that's about 34 pounds of coins.
Talk about heavy metal!

Great finds!

My $35 in nickels today produced:

1941, 1956-D, 1958-D (2), 1959-D (3)

They all get thrown back like fish that are too small. Hope you guys find 'em!

Flash forward 7 years!!!!!!!! Not sure if (large volume) half hunting was prevalent in 2005, but in 2012 some people lug around hundreds of pounds of coins at once ;D

Has this hobby grown?

Sorry I just HAD to reply to a really old post....
