As I have the week off from work, I ordered 2 boxes.
I think I got lucky. I woulda been skunked, but I found something that would fool most people.
I got a 1968-D that looks like it is clad.
I mean I can tell it is 40% silver, but if you look at the edge, there is a standard red strip on it, and when you look at the front or back, it almost looks clad instead of silver.
If you drop it on a table top, it rings like silver, and the date is 1968-D, so I know it is 40% silver.
I think if anyone searched the halves in these boxes, they missed this one just because it does not resemble a silver half haha.
Oh and I got a 2002 half. I saw someone's post a few days back concerning halves from 2003 on....is 2002 the last year they released them for general circulation?
As I am just yer average member here, I am not allowed to actually use the SEARCH ENGINE
, so if anyone could fill me in on the details, it would be a bit helpful.
Perhaps I will have better luck next week.
Happy hunting.
