Hit my favorite thrift store today. It’s been a long long time since I found gold. I saw this wire necklace and noticed it had a metal tag hanging from the clasp. It was marked 14KT AU Turkey and the clasp has 585. I was thinking it was only about 5 g but when I got home and weighed it, it ended up being 13.7 g. I was shocked and quite elated. I also picked up four sterling handled serving pieces. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1539389668.422149.webpImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1539390092.174465.webp

Very nice! Gold weight consistently surprises me as well. You think sell or melt on that one? I would think it’s worth selling as jewelry.

Nice! It always amazes me what can be found when you keep your eyes open. Congratulations on a great score.

I had to text him the day before the one I found. Make you more motivated. Haha!
