Hello all. I hope I'm posting in the right thread. Today I purchased this little fob that was connected to a chain to a pocket watch. The diamonds tested real. It's makes 14k and on the back it is hand carved.. " AS A TOKEN OF ESTEEM TO Bro G.M.H untley P.G.P.D.D.G.M. Friendship lodge No. 61 100 F 1912"
The year is def 1912. It's also stamped "dingwall" and 14k. If anyone has any information on the symbols on the front of the hand carved text on the back I'd really appreciate it! FYI I did not find this metal detecting. I bought this at a coin store ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1457738779.034815.webpImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1457738792.736647.webpImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1457738804.436347.webp

That is the Independent Order of the Odd Fellow.

Friendship lodge No. 61 100 F 1912"

instead of 100 F, it's 'IOOF' which is 'Independent Order Of Odd Fellows'. Offhand, I have no clue what the symbols stand for but you could probably research Odd Fellows symbols on the net for your answers

Wow! Surprised with the results so far, thanks everyone! So is this not a Masonic piece. I looked up the IOOF very interesting. I would love to find out who this actually belonged to.. G. M. Huntley.. I think GM stands for grand master??

It is also not a watch fob.

It is what is referred to as a "jewel".

(basically an ornamental medal worn during fraternal functions)

Do a Google search on "Odd Fellows Jewel", then look at images
