Hit the low tide wet slopes today for about 4 hours. First 3 1/2 hours was spent digging crusty zincs, rusty bits, misc. junk and a little bit of clad. Swells started coming in and I was getting tired of digging trash so decided to call It quits and head back to my car. So I'm just zig-zaggin along the slope picking up crusties here and there and occasionally looking up at the poor kite surfer struggling against 20mph winds. I get a signal like any other signal I was getting and was expecting another damn crusty zinc or a rusty nail, instead I saw the shiny outline of a ring, man talk about stoked, I was definitely not expecting it. Picked It up and right away I knew I had something good. Stamped FG 14k PT950, weighs 6.5 grams. It's been a very lucky week for me to say the least!
