My 15" coil shipped on Sat 3/6, I should have it by Tuesday. I'm looking forward to testing it out at the lake I've hunting all year to see how sensitive it is on smaller items. I also have a spot that I hit hard with the CTX and Equinox that was producing 8-9" coins. I gave up on the area when it quit producing, it'll interesting to see if I can pull out some deeper coins.

Let us know how it goes. Should be good for water work and will perhaps eek out an additional inch or two for mild soil if you can stand the additional weight (184g more than the 15x12, 324g more than the 11” stock). In the hot soil I frequently detect, it would simply become a heavyweight ground noise amplifier and a waste of $. Very interested in the 10x5, though.

The soil here in this part of Texas is very mild, I'll be using Doc's Swingy Thingy when the 15" is mounted.

Lol, I had to look that one up, never heard of it. Yup that coil will add a little weight to the front end, can’t wait to hear your review.

Do you or have you had the 15x12 to compare it to? Curious if it'll do much better then 15x12 with same settings/etc. Curious either way, hope she's a dandy.

Anyone wanna take any bets on it not even being a mm deeper than stock 11" coil?

Well....it's here and it's big and heavy, definitely gonna need my swangy thangy lol. I'll get it out for test run Sunday.

Looking like a heavy paperweight. Maybe it can not even amplify that ground noise?

I read a FB post and the coiltec 15 was hitting targets that the Minelab 15 couldn't.

Best of luck with it! Anyone know when the 10x5 is coming out?

I Loved my WOT on my Sovereign.
Used it for 3 Years in a Drained lake.
Found tiny round Fishing Wrights These little &^%$#&^% 000aaa.webp, Earrings Etc.\

I Also found Beer Cans 3 Feet deep .

Also used it in High Trash & Multiple Signal areas.
That took a little Longer to Learn.
My Solution, Back off to the Edge of all the signals & Work My way in & Through them.
Was well Worth it :coffee2:

Just don;t Get frustrated & Give up on it
