15" coiltek wot coils

Has anyone had experience on these getting weak or wearing out after 20 years ?

Had one that had a crack and died when coil wire strand rusted. I found the crack by putting it in water in tub and found bubbles rising. I let it drained, let it set for coupe weeks then sealed crack. It stop working about 6 months later.

thanks for the answer. after more testing one is dead, the other works on the soverign. No luck on the excal 2. guess ill send it in. was picking up weak then i turned the original pin point knob and it died.

i put bad coil in tub sure enough was bubbling where wires went in. just going to pitch it. got a new 15" NEL attack be here tomorrow. Thanks again
