I was in Newfoundland, Canada last week and tried to get in some hunting but sadly didn't have much luck. One day I pick up the newspaper and see that an Archaeologist had just found a hammered Elizabethan coin a few hours down the road from where I was, so I thought I would share her find with yall.

Elizabethan sixpence among ?Treasures? Found in Ferryland - Regional - The Georgian

Hammies can be found on this side of the great pond we just have to look in the right places, right Bill D.

HH everyone,
ZDD

I opened the thread thinking "Oh man, where did he find that?"

What a find ! I was aware that a couple of other "Lizzy I " silvers had been posted here over the years- but not very damned many of them .
