I seem to have picked the banks in my town dry. So while I'm giving them a rest, I drove over the hill to a neighboring town. I hit 16 banks there and all I could find were $335 in halves. $215 were from one bank and 60 from another. That leaves $60 spread thru the other 14 banks. The last one I went to had $23. One roll and 13 loose. In the loose coins, I found 4 40%ers, a 2005-D and a 1983-P (no FG). Nothing in all the rest of the coins.
A couple of the tellers told me that they had just sold what they had, so I guess someone beat me to the treasure. That last bank was new and out of the way, so maybe they just hadn't found it yet.
Tomorrow, I'll have to try the other direction. Box of $500 comes in on Fri. so I need something to do till then.
