17 degrees and still digging!!

I don’t know if it’s determination or stupidity probably a bit of both. Well it was a whopping 17 degrees today so i decided to go to and old home site in the woods.The ground was definitely not frozen which is a surprise. I’m very glad I got out and bared the cold by the end of the hunt I was actually very comfortable not cold at all. Better finds for the day 1884 Indian pretty toasty,1957 rosey that’s my second silver for the year. Back of a pocket watch which did test silver. Vintage condom wrapper. You can see from the pics there was not much room for swinging in there but I managed to do good all in all a great hunt nice to just be outside. Thanx for looking.

Nice spot you got there. Never know what will pop out. Just have to get out there and beep. I find that as long as my fingers and toes are warm I can handle hunting in the teens in the woods. Congrats on the IHP and silver!

Cool finds. I have ruined a few finds in frozen ground so I just wait til it thaws, but I understand sometimes you have to scratch that itch.

Have you noticed any performance issues with you EQ at those temperatures ? you are really pushing the factory recommended limits.
