1700's Colonial Buckle?
Does anyone know what type of buckle this is and what time period this buckle was made? It is a little over 3 inches long by 2 inches wide. Is this buckle hand forged and would it have a makers mark on it somewhere. What kind of metal did they make these out of. It won't stick to a magnet.
