Today I found my tenth-ever King George II Half Pence. As I like to say: there weren't many colonists, they didn't have much to lose, and probably didn't lose much. Small change was in chronic shortage during the 1700s. So when I find one with a readable date I feel both accomplishment and relief as I dedicate much of my free time looking for colonial coins.

Congrats on a nice copper!

A fantastic find !

I, too, really like those early coppers and have found lots of them. This one of yours is in very nice condition compared to most of the ones I have found.
