1743 REALE and more; up-dated pix
Wow, Rick and I couldn't have asked for better conditions, mostly sunny weather and cool temps and a fielded the was groomed to perfection. We have done this field several times befor but we just couldn't pass up on a freshly disced field.
I managed to get 7 coppers up, mostly all in bad condition but I will try to get them cleaned up tomorrow, lots of pewter pieces and buttons and one small tombac with a snowflake design on it, and of course a nice Spanish 1 reale.

Tombac cleaned up: Group shot with iron & scrap finds

The coppers 1 Penny and 5 Half Pennies are all but gone, can't make out a thing on them. One turned out to be a 1912 Canadian LC instead of a colonial copper like the rest. Also picked up a nice black glass bottle neck.
HH everyone,
COME ON......GET IN.
