Howdy All, I just got back from the 1749 store site. Soybeans were just harvested, ground is dry and HARD. I got a few pieces of lead including one that looks like a thin sheet that was rolled up and a few musket balls. Also got 2 unknown pieces of brass. One looks like the end of a fish hook without the barb and the other has one end flattened. Any Ideas??? Penny is for size referance. Thanks Steve

Neat finds, Steve ..Bet that is a neat site , too! The flattened brass piece looks sorta like the end to a pair of tweezers. The little hook like piece looks like it's off of a piece of jewelry.
