I was keeping busy in the cold cleaning out my buckets of can slaw and trash and sifted out these rough little gems. I need to be more careful on what I think is junk lol. At least I never throw things away. While the condition is rough it appears to be a USA cast pewter button consistent with stuff I've seen from 1776 campaign. Also Smokey ID'd the small button as a New York Staff officer's (cuff?) button. Cool finds and there may be a few more in the slaw. I wonder where I came across them. Its frustrating not knowing which site they are from. Oh well I got em now. I think I am holding the pewter button upside down.
