My uncle’s house was built in 1778 so it’s one of my favorite places to go. I lived on the second floor for a year so I beat it up pretty hard with my AT Pro. I just got my Equinox 800 and wanted to give it another go around.

I only spent a couple of hours there and my my notable find was a sterling silver ring. It was very thin and unfortunately it broke while I was recovering it. [emoji24]

He also has a crawl space that is accessed through the bottom shelf of a cupboard. I took my pinpointer in with me and poked around. I found pieces of a broken bottle (looked like blown glass but it’s really dark in there) and a coin. I couldn’t get out fast enough when I rubbed it and saw a gold color. It ended up being a 1974 20 Bhutan Chetrum (made of aluminum-bronze). The people who lived there before him must have been travelers or coon collectors because I also found a German coin in the yard in previous hunts.

This winter I’m going to do his basement which has a dirt floor. He found some colonial British pennies down there but they were stolen when his house was broken into.
