18 in the hole

Went back to a basketball court I hit a little yesterday. On one corner I get a decent signal. Didn't think there was anything odd about it. After I popped the plug, I saw a piece of leather. I pulled it out and noticed it was a pouch. Inside I see 5 coins . Looked in the hole and saw this...

Ended up pulling 18 coins out. The youngest was 1981 but nothing of any real value.
Interesting how the coins imprinted on the leather.

I'm guessing no one has MD'd this court before. I did a lot of digging for the little bit of time I was there.
