1800's Chinese Coin

Wow who would've known? An old chinese coin in Puerto Rico? This is rare? What are the odds? I mean I'm sure chinese people came to the islands but I don't know their history on the island. If some one knows something or can direct me to a link regarding the history please, feel free to comment!
