1800's ghost town hunt with the boys.

I started early to meet up with with the boys (Mirage,Danimal,& Nate, of Ohio) about 5:00 A.M. After a long drive, we got to the the first site. It was very trashy and the hunting was hard, a lot of beer can tops etc. We hunted that site until about noon.

After noon we started to wander around trying to find a hot spot. 3 or 4 hours later we packed up and jumped in the van. Danimal insisted we go down one more road. We spotted a cellar hole and decided to give it a shot. After about a hour of hunting Danimal pulled a Fatty I.H. (I saw his hole was very deep). I knew the coil I had on would not get that deep.I put on a better suited coil for the site and I started to get some cooler stuff.

You are in the right spot date wise. It's like all the spots I've hunted lately, lots of trash. I'm sure you will come up with some silver soon..

'Dem's sum great doo-dads Don!

I am really looking forward to the DFX hunt too. I consider these "expedition" hunts tune-ups for those three days at McKinley!

I you want to return to the "Ohio Ownz your Mother" area, let me know and we're there!

Don,
You built character during this hunt. :D I do think you had the find of the day with that dog tag. That is sweet. ;D Oldest Nate and I have found is 1925.

Nice finds.....But thats a Foot-Eazer :D
It was while still a medical student that William Scholl made his first invention - the Foot-Eazer - a product designed to correct weakness in the foot arch. Shortly after qualifying in 1904 at the age of 22, he set up his own business and launched the Foot-Eazer, which went on to become one of the most successful product lines in the field of foot healthcare.

Thanks guys,
Kas,
I'm hoping to get one more day hunt in before McKinley. Maybe turn a good Friday into a large Friday. ;D

ZoSo71,
I'm looking forward to meeting you and swing the coil with you at McKinley.

Danimal,
It was a cool hunt. the "tune-ups" hunts are needed because the three days at McKinley is going to be a marathon. I may take you up on the "Ohio Ownz your Mother" area some time.

Mirage,
I don't know about the find of the day. That fatty that Dan found is a nice find I would call that the find of the day.

gypsyheart,
Thanks, big time for the info on the Foot-Eazer it was vary helpful.
