1800's Homestead finds
Last friday, I went MD'ing for the very first time with my bounty hunter tracker iv at a early 1800's homestead and didn't have much luck because the grass was up really high, but managed to find some interesting items. Found broken bits of pottery scattered all over around the front yard and alot of iron was buried. The most interesting item I found was an brass tip of a shotgun shell reading REM-UMC-12-NEW CLUB-No. When I got home, I did a little research and the shotgun shells of this brand started to be manufactured in 1888. Sorry I don't have pics, I got to upgrade my camera lol Here's a link to what the shotgun shells would of been packaged in http://www.soldusa.com/rainworx/detail.asp?id=33482&bigpic=0#img
