I found this at the ruins of a 19th century saw mill.. besides some bullets, this was all I found, (along with lots of iron) .. but have no idea why it is.. any thoughts?

Looks like a Victorian era suspender or garter hardware. It’s in nice condition!

looks like one strap,the three cables went out in different directions.maybe off a old airplane???
the green looks like aircraft coating.
