My brother and I went to a coin/paper money/stamp expo today. It was a lot of fun, and everybody was very friendly and helpful. Some of you might remember I posted a few pics of an 1806 half dollar here a while back. Today I was happy to have three different very reputable dealers all verify the coin as the real deal. I paid $40, and it's worth a minimum of $300 woohoo!

I was on a tight budget today, but I did manage to snag this 1787 George III shilling for $80. It's in great shape, just thought I'd share...

Nice coin! It's worth $60 in XF.

Decent enough shilling, after looking at my references it seems to be the most common type (all stops are there, no hearts)
