Went back to the 1807 house with civilman that I posted about last week.I concentrated on the front yard side walk to the house.I had a pretty good day,all of my finds were from that area.My 1st find (other than trash) was a 23 merc.I scanned the hole again and kept getting a one way signal.I dug again and could not find the target. As I was going to give up there was a merc in the hole.I thought "wait a minute? hey civil ,what year was that merc I told you? he said 23." I looked and had a 39 in my hand, thought I was digging the same coin.LOL. Thats two mercs in one hole!! :D I dug 2 quarters, 3 dimes, 1 nickel, and 2 pennies, all clad.I also dug 4 wheats, 45, 46, 57-D, and a 58-D. Now for the cool part.As some of you may know I have been diggin some really cool relics as of late and I added to them.I dug a guilded ring, a guilded button(dont know about buttons),a salt shaker top, a torquoise tie pin,and I think a buckle of some sort.If anyone can give any info on any of the relics I will appreciate it.

Thanx for lookin, jimmy

Excellent find's jimmy....Guess I was just on the wrong side of the track's.Did manage to come up with some modern clad and cleared some of the junk out of the way(50# come along). The place was very inviting needless to say and do appreciate the invitation to hunt it with you.Got alot more diggin' to do,and the chilli, watchin the race at Bristol made my day, silver or not.Thank's again. This place isn't finished yet....Again nice find's,next time I'll take the other side of the walk way .LOL......Secured another place by telling the farmer one his calve's was on the other side of the fence on the road, hopefully this place will be as productive...Great job jimmy, talk at you later....

LOL Jimmy WTG on the finds. I would think I died and went to heaven. HH Burdie

Nice pin! looks to be about 1900-1910 and they are bringing nice prices right now...is there any mark on it at all? Look at enameled pins and bars art deco style.....cool find!

Nice finds Jimmy, I'd say there's alot more there. Looks like you just managed the last 100 years of lost stuff, you'll probably have to go a couple inches deeper to get the 200 year old things.

Good luck,

Smartin

Nice bunch of finds from the house site jimmy. That 39 Merc is a beauty!
It must of fell on edge when you pulled out the 1923 Merc....which would probably explain the one way signal. The tie pin is really cool. Best of luck to ya! HH!

Very nice!!! I've dug that thing with the hole in it, thats left of your button, several times in the past. Darn if I know what they are though.
WTG!!! HH

Jimmy, I think your right about the buckle. I have found 6 of them similar to yours. Mine have what appears to be a small wishbone shape inside the hole. I'm thinking it fits on to a rounded post. I found mine at a funeral home built in 1914.

Way great finds Jimmy! :o

Sounds like you two had a fun day!

;)
