I have been doin a job nearby passing by a very old looking house that appeared to be vacant. After a month I decided to get the street name and #. I went to the tax record site and found a name of who owned the house. Then checked the name in the phone book.Im in Maryland, he lives in Virginia.I called this morning to get permission and he said "sure, you can detect there".So I went for 2 hours today.I dug 3 quarters,2 nickles,6 dimes, and 4 pennies.2 pennies were 1964,1 was a 1955(no doubling)
and 1 was a 1909(no S VDB)
. Im sure theres good stuff to be dug here as the recods show that it was built in 1807.I took a couple of pics of the site. Also a pic of the wheats ,1909 is my oldest wheat so far.I got real excited when washing and saw the date, then looked again and again for the S and VDB thru the 10x loop. Also for doubling on the 55 but no luck.It was very thrilling though and a great time.Oh yea, I almost forgot, check out the cement pond filled in .LOL
Thanx for lookin, jimmy
