1817 coppa!!!!

hi all!! another long hunt today. started off today at the new field were i got the king george 2 and the 1834 token. indians and a ton of wheats. i brought with me nexxus777 and meane gene. well this will be the last time hunting here for awhile. someone called the cops worried about hurting the grass . the cop watched us for about 10 min . he was cool and said we were doing a good job filling holes. if it was up to him we could stay but being that there was a complaint we could only dig were there was no grass. oh well i new it was to good to be true. anyway i found the 1817 large cent there. my second one that year this year.also a cool f.d. button. still trying to read the back mark. i see boston& chic still trying to read the rest. anyone seen one of these? willy

Pretty sure the FD is firemans uniform button...a sweet find as well !

But please do be carefull ... many grasses ARE on the endangered species list. And if your caught uprooting a female grass blade bearing eggs you can face stiff fines and / or imprisonment !

I wonder if the grass lover that turned ya in owns a lawnmower
