1818 Large Cent & Other Cool Relics from the 1695 House
Hey everyone. On July, 24th I went metal detecting at my neighbor's house that was built in 1695. I decided to detect the front yard. The first find was an Indian Head Penny from 1905, my first 1900's Indian Head. It was about 6 inches deep. The next find was an old button. I decided to focus around the big tree. I got a Half Dollar signal at 6/8 inches deep not to far from the tree. When I dug down, I saw a large copper in the dirt and I was pretty surprised. I was even more shocked when I read the date; 1818. It is my oldest coin and my best coin, and one of my best finds. I had a great day in my neighbor's yard. Thanks for looking everyone. HH.
