I've been searching for some new sites to detect. Actually, I've been getting more yes's than no's. I hope it continues! I got a yes to a new field Wednesday and found this large cent yesterday and a few flat buttons,. All the signs were good, a few flat buttons, flow blue fragments including small brick fragments. The excitement was mounting as I started circling. And then a solid high tone. I think it might be the medium letter variety for the 1830. It's only my third or fourth Coronet. All of those pretty toasted. It was found in almost pure sand somewhat near the river on a considerably sized hill. I got 16 flat buttons in two days. I've never seen a full eagle back mark like on one. Any of you guys? A few of the back marks were "Best Quality London", "Rich Standard", and "Trebel London Warranted". One's got a flower design on the front but the button's only pea sized. Great find, love popping that big green disk out of the plug!

Nice hunt. Old copper is always great to find. It looks to be in pretty good shape too.
I think I found a button just like the one that says "London" last year. I always like finding them too.

Looks like you my friend are in a great spot

Congrats first on finding a great spot,
and making all those recoveries.
