My dad gave this coin to me and I was wondering what the value might be.

May you cherish this coin for the rest of your life, remembering your dad every time you see or hold it in your hand. I also carry a 1848 large cent that my dad and I picked up at a coin show way back in the 1960's, I use it as a RUBBING COIN in times of stress etc. Dad passed away back in 1987, been carrying the coin ever since. It's pretty worn by now.
