Hello all! I got out with a few friends today & we hit some apartments from the 1940s that will be torn down soon. I was hoping to find a little silver. I never expected to find a flying eagle cent (my 2nd)! It was laying right on top of the ground! I thought it was a modern penny but when I swung over it rang up as 60, def not a modern penny. I took a closer look & saw the date. You never know! I also picked up a few memorials right on top. I finished the day with a 56 Roosevelt, a Mexico 925 ring, 3 wheats & a neat 58 Caribbean Elizabeth II 1 cent. Thanks for looking & HH!

Neat Flyer! A nice electrolysis bath and she'll look (almost) good as new.

Very nice, did you find the flying eagle with the AT PRO?

Well done! I've found Indians on top but an eagle! Whoa!

Not bad shape on that eagle!!
Great!

Nice one bud. Not an easy one to cross off the list

Nice coin! I am still waiting on my first one.

Great finds.
Nice eagle, cool ring and great variety.

No, I found it with my eyes! I just saw it on top of the ground. It rang up 60 when I went over it. (AT Pro)

Looks like it was a good hunt! Congrats!

Awesome digs.. It's hard enough to find a F.E. but to find one eyeballing on top of the ground, that's crazy.

I think this one is staying dirty... I would be sad if I tried to clean it & that date went away.

Very cool M!! I have only dug one & it was from a U.S. Colored Troop site at a RR Trestle. WTG, Q.

Congrats on a really nice find Josh.

I will see you again soon. GL&HH.

Amazing to find that on the surface! Go play the lottery!

You figure some kid borrowed it from Dad's coin collection and dropped it there? Either way, good eye spotting it and saving it.
