Went to a bit of a family gathering with a motive of getting more than potatoe salad. I knew it was an older home in the soft digging valley soil. So as soon as I could I said "geez I'd like to dig some holes in your lawn" to my uncle. "help yourself my boy" was the reply. In no time at all I dug a few coppers, I knew this one was a tad thicker than it should have been. Picture is not great, and the coin is worse, but hey this is Nova Scotia, and it is my first Indian Head cent, coincidentally the first one made too.
