1860 CAMPAIGN BUTTON/TOKEN

Found this button/token today. It's a campaign button for Stephen Douglas and Herschel Johnson who ran against Abraham Lincoln. Also found a piece of a spur and some kind of clip and eye-balled a half glass or ceramic ball. If anyone knows what the clip or half ball are please let me know.
