Awesome find for you!

Congratulations. Really nice looking gold.

Great find.

Why were you using your AT Pro and not your CTX?

I don't blame you, Rhode.

That coin makes me misty a bit as well.

Huge congrats and a banner, I am sure.

Extraordinary find. I would definitely have shed some tears of joy, too... congratulations!

Wow, beautiful find! Congrats! Have you recovered for finding it yet? Your AT proved it can do it's job and you put it where it needed to be!

Hi Brad; CONGRATULATIONS.!!! I already Voted for Banner ok. What say ye Folks ?? BANNER ???

Wow, great find!!! New to the forum and don't know what a banner is but I'm sure you deserve it!

I can't even imagine what the numismatic value of a coin like that would be... Would be amazing... Assuming I survived the heart attack I surely would have had if I had dig it.

Great find, good for you. I also live in Connecticut.

Darn shame someone had to put a hole in it!

Extraordinary find. I would definitely have shed some tears of joy, too... congratulations!
don't know if they are tears of joy or because of the hole in it - cuts greatly into its value
but still one of those finds of a life time :icon_thumright:

Wow just wow

Just last week I told someone there probably aren't too many gold coins in the ground in CT, but lots in CA. Congrats, it's a nice one.
My best find in Woodstock so far (only 15 minutes away) is a '44 Walker.......trade ya?
